Thrifty Tuesday ~ Accessories

With all of the new fall trend spotting that’s been going on lately, I’ve lost sight of the ‘little things’! I really enjoy using accessories when I’m getting dressed up and going out, but I don’t work very many into my everyday wear. You can usually see me wearing my favorite solitaire necklace (Christmas present from Ryan!) matched with a great pair of earrings, and occasionally a cute bracelet to go with them.

I love using belts and scarves as fall accessories, so it’s no wonder I forgot to look at new fall jewelry! I like wearing a combination of girly/romantic/rustic things and I prefer soft bracelets over hard ones most days (they tend to hurt my wrist when I type at work), but I still enjoy the occasional wrist-o-bangles. I have noticed lately that my collection is dwindling and that I need to upgrade my favorite earrings to bring in the new season. I picked out a few cute ones that I’d add to my everyday pile and a couple of other things I wouldn’t mind having in my stash for dressing up :) All items under $15 each!

Thrifty Tuesday ~ Fall Boots

Another Thrifty Tuesday here!

While out on our ~~window~~ shopping spree this past weekend, I tried on a pair of outrageously expensive and equally beautiful boots at Bink's Outfitters.

I feel in love.

These boots were so comfy and fit so well

(I fit into a 9.5 instead of a 10, which MADE my day).

P.s. Get prepared for an itty bitty rant. Does anyone else get frustrated when they look at websites and they see a "Girl on a Budget" section and all of the pieces listed are priced well over $100? I mean, yes, I love to browse the expensive sites and even buy a really nice piece every now and then but over $100 for each item?? Consider me confused. Hopefully I'm not the only one out there trying to shop like a normal person, with a normal budget! Anyway, this is my main inspiration behind my Thrifty Tuesday posts...affordable items for real people! :)

Thrifty Tuesday ~ Target

With cool weather right around the corner I find myself daydreaming of new fall sweaters, boots, scarfs and lots of new browns, greens, and creams!

Of course I can't shop as much as I want to! BUT when I do shop I try to make it as thrifty as possible so I can get as many new pieces as possible. I've been doing some window shopping lately...here are my favorite finds from Target. None of these items is over $50 so you could easily get a few things and not break the bank!
