Holy warped speed weekend! It seems like this weekend FLEW past us.
And I'm obviously still recovering since it's Monday evening and I'm just now writing this weekend post.
Although it went quickly, it was packed with fun :)
Friday night the husband took me out for our favorite kind of date....sushi! For the last two years I've been on the hunt for an awesome sushi place here in Nashville (you know, a good hole in the wall type place). When I lived in Louisville I had 2 go-to sushi places that I visited regularly (and that I miss on the regular). We tried Samurai in mid-town and we already can't wait to go back!

Saturday we got together with most of our closest friends for our friend's kiddo's first birthday! It's still hard to believe that we have friends with kiddos! photo bomb of the year!

Funny story: I've never dropped a phone in water in my 10 years of having a cellphone (in fact I laugh at people who do, because who does that??). That all changed on Friday night. I dropped my phone into a full bathtub. I. Freaked. Out. I left it in this lovely bowl of rice overnight and the next day it was FINE. Miracle, I know. However, when I proceeded to drop it in the toilet on Saturday (less than 24 hours later), it didn't fare well after another trip to the rice motel. So now I have a crackly phone that doesn't allow me to use the home key OR take photos in focus (send prayers).
Sunday I spent time meal prepping, trying a new recipe, and reorganizing my Pinterest boards. I love feeling prepped and ready for Monday (even if Monday turns into a sick day...).
