Guest Post [The Daily Tay]

Monday, is that you? I thought I asked you to stay in bed today?

Oh well, I guess we can't get around having a Monday each week. We can, however, make Monday a little more enjoyable by finding a new blogs to follow! Today Taylor, from The Daily Tay, is here to make your Monday better. Keep reading...I'm sure you'll find yourself clicking over to her blog to follow along with her Windy city lifestyle before you even finish this post : )

Hello Sweet Life Readers!
My name is Taylor and I blog over at The Daily Tay
I don't really blog about great fashions like Ashley does,
although I sure love to spend money (that I usually don't have) on fashion.
Michigan avenue here in Chicago tends to have that affect on people...

I actually just blog about all sorts of random things I'm sure you'd just love to know-
like my obsession for my dog, Harlow
my love for happy hour with my boyfriend, Chris
and my desire to someday be called a "sweetheart" like Emily Maynard.
I've been called a lot of things, but sadly "sweetheart" has never been one.

Today I have the luxury of blogging from the beach.
Lots of people don't realize Chicago has fantastic beaches,
with so many great running paths right beside them.
I'm yet to actually run on one of those paths, but they sure look nice from where I'm laying.
In the meantime I just decided I'm going to buy a pair of roller blades.
Then I can really live out my 1990s beach fantasy.

Anyway,
I've been learning a lot of things as I lay here on the beach and people watch.
For example,
Asian men in business suits like to take photos of American women,
they don't however like to have their photos taken, as I tried to get a few shots.
Scooters intended for children don't work in the sand.
And runners in 85 degree heat all look pretty miserable,
except for the man running behind the girl dressed in only a bra top and spandex.
He looks quite happy.
I hate that girl. Hate is a strong word, I should say "admire" instead.
I admire that girl who can work out and feel so at ease in such little clothing in public.
Then again, I still blush when I have to change
beside the naked 70 year old women in the locker room at the gym...
I guess I'm just weirdly modest about silly things like that.
For instance I also just got super uncomfortable
when I noticed the girl next to me is reading "50 Shades of Grey."
This is a family beach.

So now you know a little more about me and what I like to ramble about.
Stop on by sometime, I love visitors!

I love Taylor! Her blog posts are hilarious! I was at the pool yesterday and there was a lady with her young son and she was reading 50 Shades. It made me uncomfortable haha :)
