Style Sunday

After spending some time at the pool today, I decided that I am absolutely over the heat and more than ready for some chilly fall weather. Of course the only reason that I want chilly weather is so that I have an excuse for warm sweaters, warm beverages, and warm cuddles!
Oh yeah, you can't forget the sexy boots ;)

I can't wait to update my closet (just a little) this fall. Here are the styles I am drooling over. Hopefully I'll get to pick up a few things that are similar...

Don't these outfits just make you want to layer up and plan something outside? I can't wait to be able to dress the way I want and not have to worry about the temperatures!

P.s. Find me on Pinterest (@ashmpars) to see all of these outfits and more (as well as the links to all pieces)!

What I Wore Wednesday

Happy hump day! I'm so excited that it's officially the middle of the week and that the weekend is half way here!

I'm linking up with Lindsey over at {The Pleated Poppy} again this week for What I Wore Wednesday. I only have a few things to post since I haven't been wearing many cute outfits this week. Enjoy!

Remember this dress from last week?

{White Party}
Well, I found shoes to go with it!

{KMart(On sale for $7.50!)}
Even though it's right at 100° everyday, I still have to wear sleeves because the office is cold. I like to add a pop of color though!

Last but not least is my favorite and most treasured piece (it was a gift)--my semi-blazer from Anthropologie.

This blazer is thin enough to layer with, which I love. And it's green :)

Chevron Craze

Do you ever find yourself obsessing over a trend? Of course you do!

I find myself obsessing over the ever popular Chevron design. I can't get enough of it and wish I had it any and everywhere! Be prepared...I'm about to overload you with Chevron amazing-ness :)

Yes, this is a baby blanket, but I would absolutely cuddle with it!

{Chevron Totes via Beklina}
I just about always have a Chevron image as my iPhone lock screen. I switch it up between the three below. It's always nice to have a little flash of color and design where ever I go.

There you have obsession!

Hopefully you're having a great Friday so far :) I can't wait to end the work week so that I can get home and catch up on my DVR shows with Ryan. This weekend should be fun since we plan on visiting with friends (at an engagement party!), relaxing by the pool and hopefully trying out a new recipe or two.

Here's a Sneak Peek of my next tutorial and most recent project!
Stay tuned :)

{Sorry for the blurry iPhone picture..the rest will be better!}

What I Wore Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

After being inspired by Lindsey over at {The Pleated Poppy}, I decided to start doing a What I Wore post.
The following outfits are from last week. Although I normally dress this way, I have used this as a way to improve my accessorizing habit! I love adding little bits to each outfit, but sometimes I slack off just because I'm in a hurry or whatnot.

{Shirt-KMart, Jeans-Burlington Coat Factory, Shoes-Old Navy, Headband-Kohl's}
{Shirt-Charlotte Russe, Jeans-Aeropostale, Shoes-Burlington Coat Factory}

{Shirt-NY&Co., Cami/Tank-American Eagle, Jeans-Target, Shoes-Old Navy, Belt-TJ Maxx}

{Sweater-Old Navy, Tee-Burlington Coat Factory, Cami-Charlotte Russe, Jeans-Target, Shoes-Old Navy}

I wore a t-shirt to work on Friday, so I posted this pic of my date outfit.
{Shirt-ANA/JCPenny, White shorts-Target, Sandels-Target}

{Dress-Charlotte Russe}

{Dress-Charlotte Russe, Sandals-KMart}

Also, I went shopping this past weekend for a white dress for a friend's engagement part and found these two cuties!

{Dress-Charlotte Russe}
I really wanted to buy this one for the party, but they didn't have it in a bigger size :(

Another dress that I found on sale at Sears for $19.99! What a steal...and it even had pockets ;)

And this one, which I picked for the party!
This is the winner! I picked this dress to wear to friends' engagement party Saturday :)
Be sure to head on over to check out Lindsey's WIWW as well as many others. Happy Hump Day!

Weekly Roundup

The last time I posted I mentioned not having enough to post about--I sure jinxed myself! I have since started my new job, visited with some of Ryan's family, spent lots of time window shopping, enjoying the weather, crafting and even building furniture (more on that later)!

{Saturday morning on the square}
Ryan's brother and sister in law came to town to see our new
place and to experience a little bit of MBoro.

{My Old KY Home}
We went into some of the cute little shops on
the square to see antiques and try on clothes.
{You gotta love oldies}

{Homemade jam}
Farmer's Market

{Lavender Lemonade}

 After spending some time in Murfreesboro for the weekend, we headed over the Mr. E's parent's house for the rest of the weekend. We spent time going to Franklin, setting off fireworks, decorating pottery, cooking out and enjoying each others company!

We went to Franklin to celebrate the 4th on the square.
This store had some of the cutest glasses, books and girlie decor.

{I love this lamp and wouldn't mind having the book  too!}
{See what I mean about the glasses?}

{Adorable cake stand}
{Franklin on the Fourth}

{Breakfast for the boys}

{A trip to Restoration Hardware to drool over..well...everything!}
{Nothing like some friendly competition while everyone's together!}

{Look who drove us home!}

{Driving sure wears this boy out!}

{Nothing better!}
I have also found some time to try my hand at making some cards in hopes of doing an Etsy storefront with cards, wood crafts and other arty "stuff".
